-We are seeking a skilled Hardware/Server/Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, managing server infrastructure, and providing technical support to ensure smooth IT operations. This role requires expertise in system administration, hardware diagnostics, network management, and end-user support.

1. Hardware & System Maintenance

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, servers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty hardware components, including motherboards, processors, RAM, and storage devices.
• Perform routine system checks and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and manage hardware upgrades.

2. Server Management & Administration

• Deploy, configure, and monitor physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux).
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and user authentication.
• Perform regular system backups and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor server performance, uptime, and security vulnerabilities.

3. Network & Security Support

• Install and configure network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and optimize performance.
• Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
• Ensure system security through antivirus management, patch updates, and firewall policies.

4. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide first-line and second-line IT support for users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Assist in software installations, updates, and system configurations.
• Maintain documentation of troubleshooting procedures and resolutions.

5. Compliance & Best Practices

• Ensure IT infrastructure aligns with industry standards and security best practices.
• Develop and enforce IT policies for data protection and system usage.
• Stay updated on the latest hardware, server, and security technologies.

6. Administrative Responsibilities:

• Manage all vendor-related coordination and communication.
• Oversee administrative tasks during functions/events, ensuring smooth execution.
• Maintain office supplies and inventory; coordinate procurement as needed.
• Handle facility management, including upkeep, repairs, and cleanliness.
• Manage documentation, filing systems, and data entry for admin records.
• Coordinate with internal departments for smooth administrative operations.
